I'm in Japan now!

today was awesome...
my second day, and last day, at Heian Private Co-ed High School. everyone was so nice, i loved my class. made me feel really sad thinking that I'd never see them again, or go to school there again >__<

english&grammar were 2/7 of the subjects we had today. the english teachers made me the teacher, and I was allowed to make the class play games and stuff. that was really fun, I was known as 'joyce-sensei' after that, and got to know all my classmates much better, and vice versa. people who were too scared to talk to me before started talking to me, and it was really comfortable and cosy...

we played spelling games, where I said and word and got the class to spell it, with teamwork; everyone spelt one letter. and then we played english-version shiritori, where we started with a word, then made another word starting with the last letter of the first word.

the first word we used was HEIAN, which the teacher put up there first. then after that, I marked all the words and added up the scores, etc. then I was allowed to put up the first word for the next word, so I used JOYCE; which most people continued with egg, then god, then other words with three letters... rofls.

I was always shortest in the class since kindergarten, and that didnt change when I came to japan... Im still the shortest, by a little bit. but its a bit better - the difference isnt as huge; my host sister and friends are all around my height, and they are all very cute ^^

my host sister, yuki, is a full time otaku, followed by hana, who is just soo cute! she refers to herself as ore, and talks really guyish, like from shounen animes, but her voice is really high and cute, and she is just so cute... XD

anyways, Ive made heaps of friends already, japan is great. my family, school, labo group is all really really nice and considerate, and Im having no trouble at all communicating with them. this is the first time i havnt really spoken any english in 4 days straight, and just all japanese. i wonder whats gonna happen when i come back to australia.. hahah.
